France Ellul

Harper, Storyteller, Poet, France has been telling stories with the Celtic harp for years.

This album is France's first, with himself performing on Celtic harp and vocals, Tarsem Kalyan on tabla drums; Chris Conway on whistles (and various other instruments); Martin Herbert on fiddle; Nuala Kennedy on Celtic harp.

The album also features other fine musicians. Apart from France, Nuala, Chris and Martin there are three other Celtic harp players: Emma (who is ten years old!), Keith and Suzanne, who together make up 'The Seven Harps of Avalon'. The track "Brian Boru's March" features all seven of them playing Celtic harp as an ensemble.

Fans who are familiar with Elaine Samuels will also recognise her distinctive voice on the track "The Grail", which she wrote especially for the album.
